Hooker Hut

Hooker Hut is the oldest hut in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. DOC moved it to a new site and fully restored it in 2020–2021, keeping its heritage features. A campsite is bookable alongside the hut.

Hooker Hut is booked through DOC's online booking system. When someone cancels, the bunk or campsite goes straight back on sale with no notice. We check DOC's booking system around the clock and alert you the moment one opens up for your dates.
