Kepler Track

The Kepler Track is a circular track that traverses the spectacular landscapes of Fiordland National Park. Purpose-built to showcase the best features of the area, it takes you through diverse scenery from lakeside beech forest to exposed alpine peaks.

The Kepler Track is a loop through Fiordland National Park near Te Anau. Its huts are in demand during the Great Walks season, especially over the summer holidays.

What affects availability

• Loop track: it can be walked in either direction, so hut nights can be combined in different orders
• Exposed alpine sections: weather on the ridgeline can lead to changed plans and cancellations

When someone cancels, the place goes straight back on sale in DOC's booking system with no notice. We check DOC's booking system around the clock and alert you when a spot opens up for the dates you are watching. You then book it directly with DOC.

Kepler Track sold out?
