Great Walk Tracker provides availability alert services for New Zealand's Great Walks. We monitor the Department of Conservation (DOC) booking system and notify users when spots become available that match their specified criteria.

Important: We are an independent service and are not affiliated with the Department of Conservation (DOC) or the New Zealand government.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Social Login

When using social login (Google, Apple, Facebook), you authorize us to access basic profile information as required for account creation and management.

4. Service Plans and Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

We offer multiple service tiers:

  • Free Plan: Limited monitoring with delayed notifications
  • Advanced Plan: Enhanced monitoring with instant notifications
  • Premium Plan: Unlimited monitoring with multi-channel notifications

4.2 Billing and Payments

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance
  • Payments are processed by secure third-party providers
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice
  • No refunds for partial months of service

5. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

5.1 No Guarantee of Availability

We provide alerts based on publicly available information from the DOC booking system. We cannot guarantee:

  • That spots will become available
  • That you will successfully book when notified
  • 100% uptime or immediate notification delivery
  • Accuracy of DOC system data

5.2 Third-Party Dependencies

Our Service depends on external systems including the DOC booking platform. We are not responsible for outages or changes to these systems.

6. User Responsibilities

6.1 Appropriate Use

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for legitimate personal purposes
  • Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt our systems
  • Not use automated tools to access our Service
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not resell or redistribute our Service

  • Canceling alerts when no longer needed

The Service, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by Great Walk Tracker and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
