Cape Brett Track

The Cape Brett Track follows the ridge of the Rākaumangamanga peninsula to Cape Brett Hut, a shared-occupancy hut in the former lighthouse keeper's house. DOC notes the track between Rawhiti and Deep Water Cove closes each year from 30 April to 31 May, when the hut can only be reached by boat to Deep Water Cove.
